Project aim:

The Project aim is: to develop methodology and validated tools useful to policymakers to make health gains via evidence-based policy decisions for urban populations.

The objectives are to collect data at UA level, provide tools for evidence-based policy and apply the tools in the field and ensuring they are easy and intuitive to use by policymakers.

The role of Centre for Disease Prevention and Control of Latvia (CDPC)

CDPC of Latvia takes part in following specific WP-s:

WP-4 „Preparation of protocols for data collection, design and piloting of appropriate instruments”

WP-5 „Collect data & quality control” – by collecting, checking and providing available information about health profile of inhabitants of two LV cities (Riga, Liepaja) - in accordance with defined health indicators.
